    Since there has been no reaction to solve the problem, I decided to delete this plugin and replace it with “Classic Widgets” – and this one works perfect on my sites. It has 600.000+ users and no errors reported so far.

    Same error recorded with all my websites:

    WordPress version 5.8.2
    Current theme: Graphene (version 2.8.6)
    Current plugin: Restore Classic Widgets (version 1.3)
    PHP version 7.4.25
