I did try to apply CSS to the parent element but unfortunately while it indeed increased the height of the element, it doesn’t actually make the input field any larger.
I tested the website switching to the Storefront theme and the fields look really good with that theme – we are using Divi at our end.
Thanks so much for coming back to me. Because it’s such a random issue that’s hard to replicate, I’ve just gone ahead and made sure the checkout page is excluded from caching and so far so good, so fingers crossed!
Thank you for your response. To clarify, the issue isn’t so much the forcing of account creation – it’s the fact that when an account is created, it’s using the PayPal email address rather than the address supplied in WooCommerce checkout.
