Yes, that is correct. It is supported for both Canada and U.S merchants.
Since the payments are processed by your Clover Merchant account, you would simply install the app “Smart Online Order” by going to “More Tools” from Clover.com
Once you do that, Clover dashboard will recognize your location and will process the payments in your local currency.

The apps in the app market are by different companies. The gift card app isn’t created by us and therefore doesn’t work with our app.
Here is how you can sell gift cards and then assign the amount to the various gift card apps found in the Clover App Market.
Make an inventory item called Gift Cards using your Clover Inventory App.
For example
Category name: Gift Cards:
Item name: Gift Card $100
Item Name: Gift Card $200
Item Name: Gift Card $500
etc.Then when they buy the Gift Card item using Smart Online Order, Simply Open the Gift Card App, add the amount purchased to the Gift Card App and assign the customer.

Many times, when you get an invalid account number or if the card didn’t work, or any time of error, this usually indicates the Api Key is incorrect.
Remember, to get the Api Key by installing Smart Online Order app on Clover.com
If you generate an Api Key on the Clover dashboard without installing the Smart Online Order app, then that Api Key won’t work with the Online Orders.

It will print the orders to your Clover Device. It uses the Woo-Commerce Inventory and keeps the Clover Inventory independent View Here

It uses the Woo-Commerce Inventory while the payment is processed by the Clover Device. The customers information will remain on your Woo-Commerce so you can print the shipping labels and make other contact with the client.
