@zimbo000 sometimes when the hosting has very aggressive caching, some code from the previous version can be included during the upgrade, which causes such issues. However in such cases the problem is usually temporary and it starts functioning correctly after the full upgrade.
Hi there, the class Resize_Detection is not being referenced/used in the code of version 4. What action did you perform on the site that caused this error? Is it still happening?
You can upload the screenshot somewhere and share the URL

Hi @rainer-r, we would be happy to help you with this if you can provide some more information. What do you mean by “only line by line”? Also do you see any errors when you set WP_DEBUG to true?

register a new account every time we want to use it on another website
Hi there, this is not the case, you can log in with the same account on all your websites if you like.
We had to make this change to prevent unauthorized access to our API which was being abused by some users, making the smush process slower for everyone.
Thanks for using the plugin, we hope you will reconsider and use it again.
Hey there, please note that your website usually uses thumbnails on the frontend so deleting them will break those images. Also, your pages will not load faster if you free up disk space.
@rainer-r @wpmudevsupport12 thanks for using the plugin. Please note that each “media item” in your library can have multiple sizes so the image count can be higher than your “media item” count. The number is most likely correct.
Hi there, thanks for using the plugin. The class you are referring to should definitely be there. You can see it here for example: https://plugins.trac.ww.wp.xz.cn/browser/wp-smushit/trunk/core/backups
The only thing I can think of is that something went wrong during your upgrade. Could you please install it again to get all the files?

In reply to: [Report Content] Found Google Ads CodeI can’t say how it got added on your website. I don’t know who has access to your site or which plugins you have installed.
But the real, unedited version is the version I shared with you: https://plugins.trac.ww.wp.xz.cn/browser/report-content/trunk/static/js/scripts.js

In reply to: [Report Content] Found Google Ads Code@reviewmaker I’m sorry what on earth are you on about? Who told you this?
Did you know that anyone can browse the JS code on WP.org. This is the main JS file:
https://plugins.trac.ww.wp.xz.cn/browser/report-content/trunk/static/js/scripts.js
Where do you see the google ads code?
This is the only other js file in the plugin:
https://plugins.trac.ww.wp.xz.cn/browser/report-content/trunk/static/js/options-panel.js
Again, see anything?
Do you this the WP.org team would allow plugins to include random google ads?

In reply to: [SmartCrawl SEO checker, analyzer & optimizer] Sitemap Error@businessquestions I think it might be because there’s no content on the site. Once you publish something the sitemap should start working.

In reply to: [SmartCrawl SEO checker, analyzer & optimizer] Sitemap ErrorI tried accessing your sitemap but it seems to lead to a 404 error: https://phyrai.com/sitemap.xml
Is the SmartCrawl sitemap module active on the site?
Thanks,

In reply to: [SmartCrawl SEO checker, analyzer & optimizer] Sitemaps 404Hi @jmeyer2485 sorry to hear that you had to switch back to your old plugin.
The issue that you’re facing can sometimes occur due to conflicting permalink rules. If you are willing to give it another try, could you reset your permalinks with all other plugins deactivated? That should fix the problem. If not, our support team can help you dig down and fix the issue for you. I hope you’ll give us another chance!
Thanks!
Hey @trooper_d5x,
If I check the source code of your sitemap in chrome (CTRL+U): https://playfront.de/news-post-sitemap1.xml
I can see the correct language tag being used:
<news:language>de</news:language>
Perhaps Google needs some time to become aware of the change? Or there some sort of caching involved?

Good to hear that the sitemap is working for you now.
We’ll make sure that the language tag is included in the upcoming version 🙂
