I figured it out. If anyone encounters this problem in the future, it’s your permalink settings. They have to be on default in order to work with this theme.

I haven’t tried the developer because, looking through the comments, (s)he doesn’t appear to be very responsive. I’ll try reuploading the files though. Thank you.

Okay, I took a look. Similarly, the updated php did not help me. However, because wiziee realized the problem lay with Chrome, I tried using another browser as well. (I typically use Safari, as I’m on a Mac.) In Firefox, the plugin works just fine.
I’ll be getting a new laptop soon and moving back to PC, where I’ll use IE, which apparently works from what wiziee says. So I’m not too concerned.
