I just saw a thread about the compatibility of Post Expirator with the latest version of WordPress. This makes sense the other site my company has – where Post Expirator works fine – is not the most current (3.8.1) version of WP.
Any chance there will be an update to the plugin to make it compatible?
I am having this problem as well. It says that the changes saved and the category I checked is unchecked and is not saved as the default expiration category. I use this plugin on another website and it works fine. I put a ticket in with WP Engine and they did a lot of troubleshooting and then told me that I needed to contact the author of the plugin.
