In reply to: [Import and export users and customers] import is forcing password resetI do not want the password to reset when I update users. So, I created a column for password in the CSV file (user_pass heading) and left the cells empty. When I imported, the passwords were reset!

KifahUsing Standard backend import by uploading local file.
I just did one more test and selected “delete users that are not in the CSV”. after importing, all my users were deleted regardless whether they were on the CSV or not.

I am having exactly the same problem here as jmgodin. I want users that are not on the CSV to change to a new role. I created a custom role specific to use for this purpose because I would like review the users before deleting them from the site manually. I also would like to run a cron job for this, if it works.When I import the CSV file, all registered users, including those on the CSV file and also admin, change their roles. I loose access to my site every time I import. I tried this multiple time using different settings in the plugin but same result.
Currently I have 400 users but soon this number will increase to 4000.
Please let me know if a solution has been found for this problem.
