Oh dear, apparently the VPS does not have a mail server so I cannot use it. Does anyone have any other suggestions around this memory problem? I only have 128 MB to work with!
My host has indicated that I have 128 MB of memory on the shared server and I will need a VPS in order to get more memory – which costs more of course!
The host told me that I cannot access the php.ini file because it is restricted and I can only use the htaccess file to resolve the problem. How? I don’t know. I tried to add (php_value memory_limit 64M) but it gave me an internal server error (500). Please can you help with another way using htaccess?
Thank you!Thank you for the link. I have just contacted my host to enquire about adding a php.ini file. I can’t seem to find one that is already installed and am not able to install one from C-Panel in the Software/Services section under PHP Configuration.
Ah – there is a plugin clash with WP User Frontend! Any way they can play nicely?
