In reply to: [wp-Monalisa] Breaks WP 4.4.2, no post contentif you are still here, I will turn on the plugin and you can go to the site and check it out. I don’t know what other thing I can give you. If you can tell me what error log entries are, or where to find them, maybe I can give it to you. In the mean time, look at http://www.tamuccaac.org/ and you can see the empty content. Actually, I have your plugin activated on another site, and it also has been updated to WP 4.4.2 and it is working fine here http://www.plumfabulousfoods.com/daily-compost. I will leave the plugin active on the tamuccaac site for a while to give you a chance to have a look at it.

In reply to: [Tempera] problem with my siteForum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [Tempera] tempera presentation pagemitchellk is correct, it does fix the problem. However, I noticed that when I made that change, the bar under the title and meta data indicating that the post is a sticky post disappeared. I will keep playing with it. Apparently, changing the page for the blog to template “blog template” eliminated the bar. Seems strange to me why that would make a difference.
Click User Role on left, click edit under Member, just below middle of the page 😉
I am using the free version. I have been searching for a while and am unable to find that setting. Would you please tell us where specifically to look for that setting?
Thanks

In reply to: [WooCommerce] WooCommerce ovverides my dashboardMike Jolley’s simple fix worked. It would be nice if they built that option into their settings. I supposed when I next update WooCommerce, if will overwrite my hacks (there were a couple others).

In reply to: Simple admin checkbox needed to disable all feedsYes, thank you, I saw that too. The Disable RSS plugin is based on that hack and makes the necessary changes upon activation. I would just rather see it in the privacy settings portion of the admin panel.

In reply to: Disable Comments RSS Feed in wp_headhave not investigated this yet, but it looks promising. looks like a simple hack to your theme’s functions.php file
the last link referenced this article, which has another explanation.
I have tried several hacks on my blog and am waiting to see if google reader picks them up since i know no other way to test if feeds are on or off. I will come back and let you know how it works out.

In reply to: Disable Comments RSS Feed in wp_headpunkyb9 that code did not work for me using the fluid blue template and WP 2.9.2. i am still working on a fix.
My issue may have been partially resolved. I had the plugin Wp Comments Moderators installed at one time. I selected all the users that I wanted to be moderators and it changed their capabilities. When I deactivated that plugin and removed it, it did not “unchange” the capabilities. I had to reinstall the plugin, then deselect the users as moderators, then deactivate. Now, my members are appearing in the Profiler membership directory. The issue I am trying to resolve is apparently not related to the capabilities manager, but I would still like to know if capabilities can be deleted, or roles restored to default.
I am using WP 2.9.2 and it does not appear that the relative dates appear on any posts older than a day. I have had other troubles in the past and have spent hours trying to debug it. I just wound up deactivating on all of my sites. I would like to use the plugin, but I am not php savvy enough to figure out the bugs or create hacks.
