solved
seems to be a caching problem
I will try it.
Thanks for your help, you are always very nice!
I mark my issue as resolved and in case of any troubles again, I will open a new topic.
Thanks again!
the third screenshot shows that the translation works with the emails
Thanks Chamb
as you can see the language doesn’t change within the user role
I thought about the entire issue and maybe it’s an WPML issue
I see – thank you, I will try it!
I can set the Store Manager page in the WCFM Page Settings a WCFM Page in the main language German then the page in English switches automatically to “Account”
If I change the language (with WPML on the top of the page) to English and enter Store Manager E then the page in German switches automatically to “Abmelden” (= sign out)
I am using WPML!
I suppose I am not the first one with translation issues in general …
does WCFM even work with translations (regarding the fact that you have to choose in the WCFM Page Settings a WCFM Page)?
obviously I have two pages called “Store Manager” (one for my main language German and a second one for my second language English).
The German page (in the page overview) says:
Store Manager — Vendor Dashboard PageThe English page (in the page overview) just says:
Store Manager ESo maybe that’s the real issue!
It is not possible to set different pages for different languages!
yes but the definition of a vendor won’t be made in many files
I found in
wcfm-view-wcpvendors-settings.phpthe following code:
$user_id = apply_filters( ‘wcfm_current_vendor_id’, WC_Product_Vendors_Utils::get_logged_in_vendor() );
$vendor_data = WC_Product_Vendors_Utils::get_vendor_data_from_user();so …. where do I find the definition of
get_logged_in_vendor()
I am aware that modifying the original code needs to be taken into consideration with every update
nevertheless I would to know where to find it so that I can make my decision whether to modify or to find another solution
okay … in which php is the dependency coded?
there must be some code where I find the definition of a vendor …
Your vendor is named wcfm_vendor and I cloned exactly this role … so his capabilities are the same and therefore he is also a vendor!
your answer doesn’t answer my question or solves the issue
I mark my issue as resolved. Many thanks for your help Otto!
That’s very nice – thank you so much!
I will try it on my own and if I fail, I will open a ticket.
Have a nice day too!
