In reply to: [Smart Custom 404 Error Page] iThemes Sync Issue?@petersplugins- I installed 10.3 and removed the wp-config workaround. Everything now seems to be working as expected with iThemes Sync. Thank you for a job well done!

In reply to: [Smart Custom 404 Error Page] iThemes Sync Issue?@petersplugins- The fix from iThemes support involved adding a line of code to my site’s wp-config file. Would this be helpful to you? If so, how should I send it along?

In reply to: [Smart Custom 404 Error Page] Version 10 crashes systemAfter more testing and some help from the iThemes support team (great folks, btw), we were able to fix the plugin conflict with iThemes’ sync management platform. 10.1 is now up and running on our site.

In reply to: [Smart Custom 404 Error Page] Version 10 crashes system10 and 10.1 both made my site inaccessible through iThemes Sync. Deactivating 404Page restored accessibility. No problem logging into the site directly.

In reply to: wordpress method for loading headers and footers@Pete-
Thanks for the clarification–looks like I have some research and experimenting to do. Really do like the plugin and want my implementation to do it justice…You can see our progress at http://practicelight.com/events. Just dummy stuff for now, but coming along…

In reply to: [Plugin: The Events Calendar] template issueHey ShadowQ-
Is the fix you explain above (the highlighted file edits, that is) specific to the Atahualpa theme, or do you suspect it’s generalizable to something like iThemes Flexx? I’m a first-time WP designer who’s trying to integrate The Events Calendar w/Flexx (actually a child theme implementation) and having trouble getting my theme’s header and footer to appear. Interestingly, the CSS tweaks in my child theme’s style sheet do seem to be working behind the calendar’s grid view.
This is a great plugin and I’d love to be able to use it on my project. Any thoughts?

In reply to: [Plugin: The Events Calendar] Wrong dates in Grid!I’m having the same issue (I think). When I click on “View All Events” in the sidebar widget, the grid comes up with a March 2010 calendar, but the dates do not line up correctly with days of the week and my sample event for March 5 is missing. There’s also no blue highlight for “today”.
Refreshing the page does not fix the issue, but changing the month/year selectors to another month/year and then coming back to March 2010 seems to do the trick.
Thoughts?

In reply to: [Plugin: The Events Calendar] Code suggestion for including templatesHey Pete-
Thank you very much for your post–I’m a first-time WP designer who’s been struggling with exactly this issue while working with an iThemes Flexx child theme. Just looks like the plug in is going out to the parent theme for header and footer stuff rather than finding the edited files in the child theme. I’d like to try your suggestion above but noticed your reference to using get_header() and get_footer() and realized I was out of my depth.
Is the code highlighted above sufficient to solve this problem on its own, or are there other changes I’d need to make elsewhere (like the get_header() and get_footer() references) for this fix to work?
Apologies in advance for the layman’s questions…
Thanks!
Karl
