well back to 7.2.x
this was to be a newest of everything machine but ohh well.

In reply to: PHP 7.3.1, wp 5.03, mysql 8.0.15 IIS 7.5this is not my first install of PHP, WordPress etc. what is odd is this is set up exactly like the other 22 installs I have but the only difference is versions of everything. I copied the install from php version 7.02 machine and imported the DB. I verified username and pw works on DB. verified PHP is working correctly. and the above is what I get. but just to be sure I re-dl the windows x64 binaries and installed them. rechecked everything.

this is what it says is the path is in the edit of the image the \ are missing and so is the site number which should be 2

I figured out that the admin who did the domain wildcard did not do it correctly. That is now fixed. however, I can do an nslookup and it returns the ip address as well as ping it. But in IIS I am still getting the http 404 instead of the wp404. Any ideas on why this is?Forum: Networking WordPress

it was setup for wildcard subdomain.
