I am following exactly method 2 which is not working as you say due to bug.
In such case will be waiting for fix.

But on the other hand after you say it is not working, you describe exactly how it suppose to work which is not clear for me.

the title is simply missing, a blank in my case.
is line item same as product? i have only one product, there is never more.

i use also tax calculation and it is added to overall price. in such case how can I make paypal still have a title for payment?
