Appologies to the mods if my last post crossed any lines. I’m guessing posting the malicious code did jut that… So I’ll try again to share with others what the issue was.
I was able to find the malicious code in the Funtions.php inside the WP-admin folder. The bad code was at the top of the file and was easy to spot as it had the name of the redirected site in the code. If someone finds this same issue (conditional redirect and lost funtions in admin panel, look there first. Use the find function in your file manager and search for a piece of the redirecting site.
Yeah, I am paying them for a back-up program. They told me they keep the backups, now I am learning that the program i pay for only allows me to download zip files of my site. And Shocker, the system is buggy, so I can’t pull copies of my other sites at this time.
The good news is I finally got to a US team member who had a scan run and that identified files with suspected malware. In the Funcions.php file, I found the code…. That allowed me to turn off the disallow_file_mod so I can upload a malware plugin, but their is some other code in there that is stopping the download. I now need to figure out how to strip out the bad code manually so I can get to the point of being able to install a security program.
Here is the code I think is causing the issues. I’m not sure if I should start a new thread or just leave this here. I am posting the code i am removing in case anyone else has this issue.

In reply to: Conditional Redirect HackIt appears the problem is bigger than I thought. It appears someone converted my site to a Multisites. I do not have the add button on plugins to add in any plugins. so far MYDOMAIN.COM has been inept and assisting me. They say my site is fine.
