Thank you for your reply Joey. I like minimalist websites so that’s where my inspiration comes from 🙂
I think the rss icons could be improved. They look a bit sloppy.

underneath the about/portfolio/contact/facebook menu is some text (‘Justin is all hopped up on DayQuil’) that is partially hidden behind the white post background.
