The image itself is transparent.
It’s a .png [png-24] file. I actually have the same thing going on for my page background, which has a transparent fade to blend in with the background and appear kind of “3D’ish”.
So what’s happening is that even though the image itself is transparent, I am getting some sort of defaulted white background color for the header. It’s not the image, but something I’m guessing that’s overriding behind the image itself causing it to set to white.

I hate to be a bit snide regarding the issue, but I can’t exactly release the URL yet. I am running on Firefox, latest version.
I’ve tried going through every piece of “header” code I can find and placing a background: transparent; line, but nothing seems to be working right now!
