In reply to: [Photoswipe Masonry Gallery] thumbnails bigger than needed?> Re: image height. Can you post a link to demo the issue?
In my case, thumbnail sizes were set to 200px x 200px in dashboard. Internally size was 400px x 400px then.Normal 2:3 Images are now resized to 400x 266 px but portrait images are 266 x 400 px.
Since image with is fixed in masonry, portrait images are displayed with less optimal resolution. I now know that I should have choosen a bigger image hight to avoid this problem. Now, I would like to suggest to not letting the user choose a image height at all, but set the thumbnails hight internal to somewhat like 999px.

In reply to: [Photoswipe Masonry Gallery] Open single images in photoswipe?Unfortunately “. serendipity_image_left” is a leftover from a old blogsystem I migrated from to wordpress. I am already in the process to eliminate this markup.
I was just asking, because some other lighboxes out there do not need a dedicated class to get involved. (ie “blueimp lightbox”). I guess the just scan for the standard link.

In reply to: [Photoswipe Masonry Gallery] thumbnails bigger than needed?Ah I see, Thank you for explaining this to me.
Is there any easy way to reduce image quality of double sized thumbnails?Wouldn’t it better to set the image hight to at least twice of the widht value automatically? Just to make sure that portrait orientation are handled correctly?

In reply to: [Photoswipe Masonry Gallery] Open single images in photoswipe?Yes it was an old post and resaving indeed solved the problem. Thank you!
Is there any other way of trigger the new function, since I would like to use the plugin on an existing blog with over 500 postings. Resaving every single one of them would be a pain…

In reply to: [Gallery Manager] Caption/ Description in LightboxMy testsite was already on WordPress 4.4.2, Gallery Manager Lite 1.6.5 and now I switched to Twenty Sixteen 1.1
I still can’t see a title in the lightbox and can’t the title tag in the html source code. (screenshot: http://fs5.directupload.net/images/160408/zmr4zame.jpg)
Thank you for your support, even for the free version of your plugin! I give up now.

In reply to: [Gallery Manager] Caption/ Description in LightboxSorry, I can’t get access to the support area http://dennishoppe.de/support since I did not buy the pro plugin and don’t have an password/username.
It is interesting though, that you can see the image titles in the gallery of http://beta.dd4kids.de/burg-stolpen-die-kinderfreundliche/
I tested it with firefox, chrome and IE.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Gallery Manager] Caption/ Description in LightboxHere are my example urls:
http://www.dd4kids.de/burg-stolpen-die-kinderfreundliche/ (fancy gallery)
http://beta.dd4kids.de/burg-stolpen-die-kinderfreundliche/ (gallery manager lite)In both cases, everything is the same, but the gallery plugins. Digging deeper, I can see that in the html source code of the (new) gallery are no title tags included, only alt tags.
In the html source code generated by fancy gallery, title and alt tag are filled with the same content.
Looking at the media gallery, I can see, that title and alt field are filled different and it looks to me, that fancy gallery magically used the title entry to fill the title and the alt tags.So I think I found the reason, why I do not have text in the lightbox: there are no title-tags included in html code.
What can we do about it? I found a code to add title tags, but it does not work with [gallery] (all thumbnails look the same)

In reply to: [Gallery Manager] Caption/ Description in LightboxI mean I miss the title in the lightbox. In the fancy gallery plugin, I could type in some title in the wordpress mediamanager. Then embed the images as wordpress gallery and read the title in the lightbox. Now I don’t see a title anymore…
I have the same problem.
