I have exactly the same problem. Loadtime about 7 to 9 seconds for the stylesheets that are only 10Kb in size! When turning on caching (lite speed) problem is solved but first time visitors and everytime when cache is cleared this takes up too much load time to justify keeping the plugin.
Site is running on shared hosting.

Hi Sygnoos,
Don’t know what happened but all of a sudden it’s working. Had to deactivate WP supercache to see made changes right away but I have it now at 600×400.
