In reply to: [Calculated Fields Form] Question about post types…Thanks much for your reply, Code Peeps. 🙂 I was wondering if making use of the DS fields would help. I’ll certainly check out the Developer version.
If I’m understanding correctly, I could assign a dedicated score to a product in the form of a CPT, e.g. products A, B, C & D have a score of 53 while products X, Y and Z have a score of 59 (I’m anticipating using prime numbers to make the math a bit easier). A visitor’s results might equal 53 and a list of products A, B, C & D would display, courtesy of the post type option which matches the products’ score of 53. Does that sound feasible? If so, is it possible have the products display in a hyperlinkable fashion?
I appreciate it!

Hi, jhowe. I’m having the same issue and found the file and line within you reference above. Did you say there’s a fix for this issue?
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
KoryThx, Braekling. I worked with the SQL query above and changed the syntax to my config but still no go. I temporarily disabled the plugin by changing the plugin directory name and my dashboard came right up. That being said, I’ll just wait for 2.14.1 and revert the plugin directory name back after I confirm the issue’s been resolved on the Piwik again.
Have a good weekend.
Regards,
KoryUnfortunately, this broke my WP-Admin dashboard too. The fix on Piwik’s forum referenced above didn’t fix it for me. I’m a bit confused about this:
UPDATE wp_options SET option_value = 'http' WHERE option_name = 'wp-piwik_global-piwik_mode'; UPDATE wp_options SET option_value = 'http://FULL_PIWIK_URL/' WHERE option_name = 'wp-piwik_global-piwik_url';Are those SQL commands?
Regards,
KoryEDIT: Unfortunately, this didn’t work for me. Dashboard is still broken. Also, it doesn’t look like Piwik released 2.14.1 yet so not sure where to get that. I’ll probably have to restore from backup although I did a lot of work today. Gotta love it.
Good morning. I lost my settings as well and had to reconnect to my self-hosted install. Was successfully able to reconnect, however, the stats graph at the top of the WP admin bar is now gone.
Hope this feedback helps.
Edit: I simply rechecked the “show stats in the WP toolbar” and got the stats back.

In reply to: [Stop Spammers Classic] No longer stopping spam accounts from registering…Hello, Keith. Thanks for your reply but my issue is not resolved (not sure why it’s marked as so). I even tried to reactivate the plugin and immediately after doing so, I received two spam registrations. I immediately disabled registrations again.
Would you suggest I revert back to a previous version?

In reply to: [Recent FB Posts] Broken…Well, I’m an idiot. 🙂 I had messed with my page settings and discovered that I locked myself out. As soon as I changed it back to “open,” the feed showed up again. My apologies, y’all. Carry on!
I was gonna post my own thread about this but it seems to be fairly common. I’m seeing posts successfully come in but they don’t make it over to the post drafts I have set up within the plugin. For example, I’m seeing a post within the plugin’s “feed items” and some of them make it over to the posts as drafts (which is my preference, of course) but the majority do not. I’ve been tweaking my settings via suggestions on this page but to no avail:
http://www.wprssimporter.com/faqs/how-does-the-number-of-entries-per-feed-and-page-or-fetch-work/
I have 61 feeds and have the setting set to bring in five feeds with total of number post entries per fetch at 400.
Would really appreciate any insight you might offer, Allen.
Cheers!

Well, actually, it doesn’t appear to work w/ Firefox still but Chrome successfully loads after modifying the file.
Thx, alexwbaumann! Your fixed worked for me as well!

In reply to: [WP RSS Multi Importer] Suppress upgrade verbiage?Oh, also, if I click the “update feed database now” button, nothing happens. I’ve tried via both Chrome and Firefox. This also seems to be the case when clicking the “click to upgrade now” button. Should there be some kind of progress being displayed?
Hi there, Richard. Thanks much for replying. I greatly appreciate it.
No, I only have the WP Super Cache plugin installed. But within the plugin itself, within the “contents” tab, it shows:
Cache Contents
WP-Cache (7.44MB)
48 Cached Pages
321 Expired Pages
WP-Super-Cache (936.61KB)1 Cached Pages
0 Expired PagesMy site is http://www.vabeertrail.net/
I appreciate any info you might provide!

In reply to: [WP RSS Multi Importer] Feed loading really slow (Even though it's cached)Just wanted to thank you for this beta version, Allen. I performed the update using the video you linked to and it’s working great! Since I’m running a separate MariaDB server (the official open source version of MySQL, of course) with plenty of available overhead, my site is loading even faster than before now that the feeds are being pushed out from the DB server. Less load on the web server too!
I’ll keep the official release version around (it’s still there, albeit now disabled) and look forward to the next official update.
Having the DB push the feeds out is a huge advantage. Thanks so much again for making this happen!

Kory
