Thanks for your reply. I agree it would be unfortunate to have to roll back to version < 3.0.

I have slightly adjusted the code in OrderManager.class.php to get the desired results we were after. I know it’s not the best solution, specifically with update overwrites, but for now it works for us.

Sorry for the confusion. The Order Number input field on the admin ORDERS page is indeed what I was revering to. I checked which version we updated from and it was version 2.11.21. This version did seem to return non-exact matches which worked very well for us.

Is there a workaround I could use to get similar results in the latest version? Perhaps a feature request for using wildcards in the admin search?
