I discovered that if I set the source to be an entire folder of photos that I didn’t have a problem. It seems that the issue only happened when I tried to select individual photos.
I also struggled with displaying select photos but found that if I move those photos to an individual folder and then configure the shortcode to display everything in that folder it works perfectly.

By the way, if you could add target=’_blank’ capabilities to the lightbox caption link in a future update, that would be great. 🙂
I’m having the same problem. I created several galleries earlier today and a couple of hours later all images are rendering as broken. I’m running the latest version of the Plugin.

I was seriously considering purchasing the upgrade, but if I can’t depend on it I won’t be doing so.
