In reply to: [MC4WP: Mailchimp for WordPress] Add a checkbox for data privacyI also have the same question as silverbackprotein. I have been using your plugin for years and all worked great.
I have followed MailChimp’s docs and enabled the GDPR forms only to find that users opting-in from my WooCommerce checkout page don’t see these consent options.
I added these options as a regular interest group as you suggested, however, when a user checks the option box on the Checkout page, the interest group options aren’t displayed to the user. They receive the double opt-in email, but that does not include interest group options. So how do we display the interest group options to users on a checkout form to add them to the consented segment?

The product is visible in the catalog/search.
I have not updated to v3.0 yet.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] WooCommerce Product ID Shortcode suddenly showing wrong productYes the product is visible. It has been published for over a year and is one of my most popular downloads. Here is the product page:
https://www.printablecuttablecreatables.com/product/pack-n-go-kitchen-toy-stove-free-cutting-file/As mentioned, I was using this shortcode in this post for over a year and it was working correctly. I haven’t changed the shortcode so I don’t know why it would suddenly change?

In reply to: [WooCommerce] WooCommerce Product ID Shortcode suddenly showing wrong productThanks Mike,
I did as you suggested and manually typed the entire shortcode into the html view of a post and still the wrong product is being shown.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] WooCommerce Product ID Shortcode suddenly showing wrong productHi Mike
Thank you for your response. I’m using the below shortcode, which I got from the WooCommerce docs:[product id=”1530”]
(note I removed the shortcodes from that blog post in the meantime, since it’s a popular post!)
I have found a partial answer to my own question. For anyone else looking:
On the main Products page, select the products you wish to apply meta to, and under “Bulk Actions” your meta groups will appear in the drop-down. Choose desired meta group and click “Apply”.
Would still love to see an option to apply to products by category, but this gets the job done as well. Thanks again for this plugin!

In reply to: [User Wallet Credit System] Can’t Update BalancesI am also having the exact same problem as Fuller Creative- when I try to update user balance in backend I get redirected to the Homepage, and the balance is not adjusted. I have been using this plugin for several months and it has been perfect for my site, but this issue is a deal breaker as I have customers that need money credited back to their accounts! Please please please fix this issue!!
I have said before that I am more than willing to pay for a pro version of this plugin to have better support and updates to this plugin!
Thank you!!
I am having this same exact problem as well…it is random and only occurs a small percentage of the time, the user receives an error message, and in the WooCommerce backend, the order shows as Pending, and the user’s wallet is debited, but the order doesn’t go through. They do have enough funds in their wallet, and I am able to manually “complete” the order from WooCommerce and it will go through just fine, but for some reason the orders are getting “stuck” as pending.
I have expressed interest in a paid version of this plugin, however the author doesn’t seem too responsive. I have been searching for other plugins that might work instead (i am willing to pay), but have not found any that seem to work the same as this one! Does anyone have any solutions or recommendations?
Hi Wiredmark,
Thank you for your fix to this issue! However after placing your snippet in my functions.php file, the shortcode still displays the balance stuck at the top of the page….any ideas what may be going wrong?- This reply was modified 9 years, 9 months ago by krisric345.
Thank you for your quick reply. The link you posted leads to a community forum, so I created a post there. Not sure if that is your ticketing system?
I am also having this problem – none of the customer info (customer name, billing address, email, etc. are being passed to, or saved on the Braintree side of things, so it is near impossible to search for specific transactions in the Braintree Control Panel (for example to look up an order using the customer’s name or email address for a refund). Is that the correct functionality of this plugin? or am I missing something?

In reply to: [Stripe for WooCommerce] Error & The future of this pluginHi,
I just discovered your plugin last week and installed it on my e-commerce site. I am not a developer and don’t know a lick of code, but I decently know my way around WordPress (although I still have a lot to learn!) and I liked your “no coding needed” approach to this plugin. I activated it and was running test purchases successfully, and loving it – I appreciate your hard work and generosity to create a simple to use plugin that works for free and had every intention of donating once this plugin proved to be a successful option for my site (it’s a shame there were so few willing to donate!).Then today, while still running in test mode, I started receiving the “Error: there was a problem connecting to payment gateway” error that others have mentioned. I’ve looked at the other threads in this forum for this issue and you mention checking the console, another user mentioned editing PHP – both of which I have no idea how to do! Having a limited FAQ section and no documentation that allows me to troubleshoot the issue myself worries me, since now I have no idea how to fix the issue – I like being able to problem-solve for myself whenever possible. My site is only e-commerce and accepting payments is crucial.
I would definitely be interested in paying for a Pro version, (especially in the under $20 price range!), with a good documentation/troubleshooting/instructions that don’t require coding knowledge to resolve common issues.
Hope my feedback helps!
Thanks again for a great plugin and hope you continue to keep it going!
