In reply to: Facebook Like Button not working.I suppose all roads do lead back to Facebook, but is it something where we just wait around for them to fix it (the Bug Tracker seems to indicate it’s a fairly widespread problem)?
I just assumed it was a 3.2 issue because it didn’t stop working when I made the previous update. I could imagine it making sense to isolate the problem to Facebook’s code not working well with WordPress’ code from the past two updates, but why is anyone’s guess.

In reply to: Facebook Like Button not working.Having the same issue, and noticed it only occurs on things posted following the 3.2 update. Tried a variety of Facebook plug-ins and the issue is across the board.
I Googled around and saw some plug-in developers saying it’s “Facebook’s fault,” but I think it’s more to do with 3.2’s compatibility with the Like button. And I don’t think Facebook is working around the clock to make their button compatible with a WordPress update…
Does anyone have ANY idea on how to fix this issue?

In reply to: Base Domain in Facebook PluginBeen having the same exact problem for about four days, after the plug-in worked fine for over a year. Have tried at least 10 “Like” button plug-ins, so I know it’s a Facebook issue. Haven’t been able to Google any solutions, so any help would also be appreciated.

In reply to: Sidebar & Plug-In Options frozen?Figured it out, had to do with the wp_options table.
Was getting “wp_options: Table is marked as crashed.”
Ran a repair via phpmyadmin on the table, and everything started running again.
Thanks for your help!!!

In reply to: Sidebar & Plug-In Options frozen?Furthermore, I tried the TwentyTen theme switch to see if the sidebar would boost back up, and I get “New theme activated. This theme supports widgets, please visit the widgets settings screen to configure them,” but my original theme still remains there. Similar to the plug-in and widget issue, where it’ll tell me a change has been enacted, but it clearly hasn’t.

In reply to: Sidebar & Plug-In Options frozen?Well that’s part of the problem, the plug-ins don’t deactivate via the browser.
It’ll say “Plug-In successfully deactivated” when I choose to do so, but on the list, it won’t grey out, and will remain active within the sidebar?
I don’t think it can be a theme-specific problem because I haven’t installed anything new or modified my theme in over a month.
