Thank you for the quick reply.

I have the Ocean Extra plugin installed and I could see only the “Enable Footer Widgets” toggle which was on. Below that, just the “Make Your Site Stand Out with OceanWP Pro Bundle!” banner. No other settings were showing.
I tried everything (clear all caches, clear Elementor Files & data, closing and re-opening the customizer, …).
There were no console errors, no indication why this was happening. And this is a new site (under development, so there were no other strange plugins except Classic Editor, Classic Widgets, Elementor, WooCommerce, Firelight Lightbox, and Forminator. Plus the OceanWP plugins).

Without deactivating any plugin, the issue was resolved by itself. Now I can see the missing settings.
I do not know what was wrong and if the problem will reappear. I cannot explain it myself, so I cannot tell you how to replicate the issue.

From my part though, since I was finally able to see and set the settings I needed, the problem is resolved.

I appreciate though your quick response.

    Thank you.

Update: the error was resolved. I added your snippet in functions.php.

The state field is still not required though. Still “I also tried two different plugins that edit core checkout fields and made state required, but this does not change in the form (multistep). I noticed though that when the form loads, initially the field is required (with asterisk) but then it reverts back to optional. (This change is almost instant, but because I have a slow machine, I am able to see it just before the form loading is completed).”
I deactivated all plugins, except the Ocean* ones, still no change.

    Than you for the reply.
I used Loco translate plugin and solved the translation problem. 🙂

Regarding the state field though, I cannot add the code. I am getting the error “Scrape nonce check failed. Please try again.”

I have installed your child theme and trying to add your snippet above in the functions.php through the Theme editor.

I reloaded and retried, but the error persists.

    Hi, thanks for replying.
I disabled the Ajax, but the problem remains.

Steps: press the quickview button on the product image. When the quickview modal appears, the usual product details are shown. Additionally, before the add to cart button, a dropdown field appears with the available optional components and a quantity slider (like when you have variable products). When choosing a component from the dropdown list, the component is shown within the field as expected.
At this point, in the normal single product page, just below the dropdown and before the add to cart button, the corresponding price (composite product plus chosen component) is shown. This later step, is not shown in the quickview modal.
If I now click on the quantity slider, the price is shown, but it includes only the composite product’s price (the component’s price is not added).

Unfortunately, the site is still under construction so I cannot provide a link.
Fyi, the plugin is the “WPC Composite Products for WooCommerce”. I am now using the free version.

The reply I got from the plugin’s support is the following:
“The issue you have with the price not changing is because the theme you’re using is missing some components from WooCommerce in order for our plugin to fully function. ”

    Thank you.

    Hi,
    thanks for the reply.
In the Customize > Woocommerce > Checkout section, there is no option for the state field. Only for Company name field, Address line 2 field, Phone field.

I am not using any translation plugin. The whole site is in Greek, so I am just using the native language settings of WordPress. Should I use any plugin? Which one you would recommend? (I do not want the site to be multilingual, I am targeting only the Greek local market).

    Thank you.

    Hi,
the problem was resolved as soon as I added a product in the cart.
Now the link is updated and works fine!

    Thank you.

Of course you can”t make every plugin compatible with the theme Amit -)
The strange think, to my mind and I am not an expert, is that the plugin creates the badges the user wants and places them where the user wants. It does not play around with the On-Sale badge of the theme. That’s why I wanted you to have a look on this.

Also, the same badges and the same On-Sale badge are working perfectly in the shop page but crash the home page! In the home page I use shortcodes (like in your demo) to display new products/featured products, etc.

Of course, I have also send the issue to the plugin support. The developer replied that he is investigating the issue and I am waiting for his input too.

    The version is already 7.0.33
The problem is solved when I disable the plugin “Woocommerce Product Badge Manager”.
Nevertheless, although I am not an expert, I think that the theme has something to do with the error.
It seems to me that the On-Sale badge of the theme is “conflicting” with the badges the plugin creates.

    Hi,

    I have the same problem:
the categories that my blog posts are assigned to are showing in the header box, and also just above the header box. This happens in static pages.
I am experimenting localy before going live, so I cannot include a link.
    I am using AMPPS.
The problem shows only in subpages.
I have downloaded the theme just recently, so I guess it is the latest revision.
When I am editing the subpages and puting no parent, the problem dissappears, but before I make all pages parent, I would like to know if there is another way to fix the problem.

Thank you in advance for any hint.
