The problem with the option you describe is that it seems to be enabled by default which will break any site which makes use of author links without it being apparent. Given the large number of options in your plugin, there was no reasonable way for me to know of its existence. Author archives are an important aspect of my site because they are prominent in the theme I use. From my perspective, I simply noticed that author arhives had stopped working sometime after installing your plugin. It took me days to track this down by selectively removing plugins because: a. searhing on-line was little help, and b. like I said, removing or disabling your plugin did not seem to fix the issue.

Yes. Switching themes and removing plugins made no difference.
With regard the other problem, that became immediately apparent when I selected to turn off SEO options in pages and posts. The effect of this was to disable all editing. Again, there seemed to be no way to fix this.
While I wish you the best with your plugin, I think my website is happier now. The fewer plugins, the better.
