Hey @bastho,
Thanks for reporting this issue.
I have forwarded this to our team for review. Once I get an update from them, I will update you. If this is a legitimate issue, it will be fixed in the next update of the plugin.
Best regards
Hi @bbarbour,
Thanks for following up on this.
Our team has reviewed the vulnerability reported earlier. After a thorough analysis, we can confirm that it does not affect the Otter Blocks plugin in our case. The issue is related to the JavaScript portion of the package, which is part of the GUI layer. We do not utilize this JS component anywhere in our implementation. Our usage is limited strictly to the PHP portion of the package, which is not impacted by the reported vulnerability.
Because of this, there was no security impact on our side, which is why no update was pushed specifically for this issue.
Appreciate you bringing it up again, and let us know if you have any further questions.

Similar to bug reports, the product team will evaluate the impact and potential benefit of your request compared to other features and prioritize it accordingly.
Unfortunately, we can’t guarantee that every feature request will be implemented or provide a specific timeframe at this point. If you have any additional details about how this feature would help you and others, feel free to share more details.
We’ll keep you updated via email if your feature request moves further in the development process. You can also check the product changelog to see future product releases and the exciting features we’re working on!
In the meantime, if you have any questions or need further assistance, please don’t hesitate to reply.

Hi @peopleinside,
Thank you for reporting this and for sharing the detailed steps along with the video—it was very helpful.
I’ve escalated this issue to our team for further investigation. We’ll work on identifying whether the conflict is originating from our plugin or from the interaction with Orbit Fox. If it turns out to be on our side, we’ll make sure to address and fix it as soon as possible.
I’ll keep you updated as soon as we have more information.
Thanks again for bringing this to our attention!
Best regards,
