I understand that it won’t download on iPhones/iPads directly, as iOS does not allow it, but when clicking a standard mp3/m4a link on these devices, it opens and plays in a new tab. Clicking the download-monitor text/button link should still open the file the same way, no? No fancy setting and not limited to signed in users or anything like that used. Media file used is for download is sourced directly from the normal WP media folder and accessible publicly if I direct link to it.Instead the device opens the black window and loading just spins and spins, and the player never appears as it does via the traditional link.
