In reply to: [WP Author Bio] Social Links Not Working Properly – Need FixAndy thanks for the quick response. After further investigating it seems that there is an issue within WordPress. I am using the WordPress fields under each USER and something is conflicting with the Twitter and Facebook cells. I have someone looking into this now.
Thank you!
That didn’t work in either your css files or my theme css file.

In reply to: [jQuery Pin It Button for Images] Cannot change descriptionUpdate: My title was being cut off by the #hashtag I had inserted into the picture title. Example: Box Favors #diyweddings – learn more http://www.xxx.com. Everything before the # was only showing. Any way to fix this so I can insert #hastags into the picture titles?
It still would be better to have the description box as an option rather than the title so other plugins don’t pull all this information.
Thank you,
This is a great plugin but there is no excuse for a developer to not answer some simple questions. If your going to develop a plugin be responsible and give adequate support.
I have solved this so here what you need to check:
1. Create your custom pin it button in a png format
2. Upload your custom pin it button
3. Click on the picture once uploaded
4. Link URL to “Link To Image”
5. Insert into post
6. Save
7. Now roll over photo and you should see custom pin it buttonHope this helps others.

In reply to: [Editorial Calendar] Calendar not loadingZack,
How did you fix this? I have the same plugins on two sites upgraded to the 3.5 and only one site isn’t working. I get that same error.
Cannot live without my Editorial Calendar! 🙂
The error is below. I have used your plugin for quite a while without any issues. I noticed since your last update that the plugin doesn’t update as fans join. So I have to go in every couple of days to update it in the settings area. So this wasn’t there yesterday. I have to do this on both my sites so it isn’t just one site that doesn’t update. Now that this has shown up it won’t update at all and my other site is not showing the error but it won’t update either.

I am getting this code too. Everything has been running perfectly and now I got this error and it will not allow my fan number to update. What is the resolution to fix this?

In reply to: [Like Box for Twitter] Twitter Fans – Fan pictures don't work anymoreI uninstalled and reinstalled. Then I deleted and downloaded a fresh copy and I am still getting someone else twitter account. I am not sure how long I am going to keep this up as it will confuse my new visitors. What is happening is I have entered diyweddingsmag {my twitter} and what is showing is stnweddings account. I have randomly change it to other twitter accounts and it just brings up what ever it likes. So it is not matching anything that is put into the account box.

In reply to: [Like Box for Twitter] Twitter Fans – Fan pictures don't work anymoreI am getting everyone but my own twitter account. I enter my twitter name and I get other twitter accounts that pop up. Click on link to see what is happening: http://www.diyweddingsmag.com/diy-wedding-ideas-favor-boxes-made-of-paint-swatches/ {it should say DIY Weddings Mag}

In reply to: [Like Box for Twitter] Twitter Fans – Fan pictures don't work anymoreThank you japheth! I only waited for that solution for 4 months. Some would say that’s a quick answer LOL! It worked like a charm. I changed that one line of code and behold twitter fans again. The second line of code was already inserted. Thank you again.

In reply to: Wp .htaccess is hacked for the 2nd timeAITpro – you cannot leave me hanging with a LOL after I am paying for this service 🙂 Please don’t hold back on my account I would like to hear your thoughts on this service. I am just trying to protect myself in the future. I am not locked into anything.
I don’t use TinThumb on this site but I am well aware of that issue.
Thank you kindly for other steps will start the process.
One more thing since SecureLive put a 444 on the htaccess file I haven’t had any incidents. What are your thoughts on that? Seriously!

In reply to: Wp .htaccess is hacked for the 2nd timeHello,
For the last 4 weeks something has been adding random code to my htaccess file bring my site down daily. At one point so much traffic was being false sent to my site it brought down my hosting companies server. My site was brought down and I got a warning! Now I have been told that they think my permalinks are corrupt and that every time wordpress access the file to do an update it is rewriting to that file. Not sure what all this means.
I was told that if i did a reinstall of wordpress that I would lose all my files. My hosting company is not really a big help. Can anyone help me with this – I am as green as they come but desperate as I am losing business being down all the time.
A breakdown of what it is doing to my htaccess: adding a single “s” or “ss”. Friday it added a <Files php.ini>. It also doubles the wordpress code. We keep renaming the htaccess file and it mostly corrects the problem but only temporarily. The temp fix right now is changing the permissions to 444.
I have turned off and removed most of my plugins.
To try to combat what we thought was a hacker I installed Better WP Security and it redirected my site to the home page and locked me out of my admin login. If things weren’t bad enough. I removed it.
I now use SecureLive and they have been great. They are recommending the complete reinstall of WP.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
angler2010,
I am just taking a stab at this but in your source code you have something called wp-photo-album plus. If that is a stand alone plugin try removing that. To answer you other question yes you first have to make an album (there is a box you type in the name of your album to creat it)and then you drop and drag the gallery over to the left. If you already have an album created in the far right column – select it from the drop down box and then drag the gallery over to it. Good luck! I hope the update comes soon.
I had this problem and it’s a pluggin. For me it was Google Library. Anything you have installed that is helping you support javascript is probably the culprit. Alex is right if you look at the bottom left of your web browser while you load your home page it will tell you where the error is. Then click VIEW, SOURCE on the menu bar and now your source code should pop up in a separate window. Find the line that the error code is on – now look and see what plugin it’s using. That’s the one you deactivate. Hope this helps – I know how frustering it is!!
