I turned off WP Super Cache about a month ago, and the plugin is working again. It’s better to have the plugin active, but for now I’ll leave it as is.
Thanks.Your suggestion helped! I couldn’t upload the images through a new post screen. Went back and resaved the images in Photoshop and for whatever reason, now they’re uploading as expected. It wasn’t the plugin. But thank you so much for helping me!
Thanks for the reply. No, it’s the most basic of sites. There are only two plugins – updraftplus and modula. The site runs on the Genesis framework, but that’s not resulting in an issue for any other sites I manage that use Genesis. I tried to upload the photos through the Modula uploader screen, got a non-specific http error. Then uploaded them through the media library, that worked. When I added them through Modula screen as library items, still get the error. The site has plenty of server space and bandwidth. Any ideas you might have?

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Add HTML before/after event content since 6.7 releaseI am having the same issue. Please advise when this is fixed. Thank you!
I have the same issue, backups are not finishing. I don’t have any influence with my hosting company to have them apply a patch.
According to their support rep, this is what they were able to gather on my hosting server:
[~]# curl –version curl 7.29.0 (x86_64-redhat-linux-gnu) libcurl/7.29.0 NSS/3.90 zlib/1.2.7 libidn/1.28 libssh2/1.8.0 Protocols: dict file ftp ftps gopher http https imap imaps ldap ldaps pop3 pop3s rtsp scp sftp smtp smtps telnet tftp Features: AsynchDNS GSS-Negotiate IDN IPv6 Largefile NTLM NTLM_WB SSL libz unix-sockets
The error message in the log file does seem to point to an issue with curl. Is there any hope for getting these backups to work? I have quite a few installs of UpdraftPlus and it would be a major undertaking to use another service.
UpdraftPlus has been amazing for me for many years.

In reply to: [UpdraftPlus: WP Backup & Migration Plugin] Backup (Not finished)@cbrendlinger, wondering if you tried again with HostGator? I also have a dedicated server and I’m having trouble even getting support to understand what I’m talking about. Do you typically contact first level support for dedicated server or do you get to work with someone higher up? Who denied your request? Maybe if enough of us contact them, we can get it updated?

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Calendar shows dots when changing monthThanks for your suggestions and follow up! I did finally find the culprit. There was a third-party mailing list signup form in a footer widget that was causing the conflict with The Events Calendar and another plugin on the site. I removed the form and all is well. Took a major deep dive to find that one!
Thanks again!

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Calendar shows dots when changing monthHi @abzlevelup, thanks for the message. Yes, I have already seen that article and configured WP Super Cache as described in it. No luck there. I’ll happily investigate any other suggestions you or anyone else has.
Thanks,

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Calendar shows dots when changing monthThanks, John. I had deactivated the plugin temporarily to test another option. Ideally, I’d like to get The Events Calendar working again. I’ve reactivated it.
I don’t use a page builder, but I do use Genesis Framework and a child theme of that. I have a caching plugin installed, but it is also deactivated.
Now, for the possibility of the CSS and/or JavaScript getting minified somewhere…if that’s the issue, is there a way to resolve that? I don’t know much about that.
Any other suggestions would be most appreciated. The events page is here: https://webthreesixty.com/acs/events/
Best!
LisaSteve,
Any thoughts on this? I would like to have the article x of x in the series to appear on the main blog archive page: https://timdasey.com/articles/In WordPress settings, the blog page is set to a page, not to latest posts.
Thank you,
LisaThanks, again. The link you included above goes to the series overview page that lists only articles in the series. I’m talking about the main blog archive page that has all articles, not just the series. As you saw in the link I included above, I had to type the notation about “article x of x in the series” in each article of the series. This is not done automatically. Thoughts? Thanks.
Thanks, Steve. What you’re seeing on the blog archive page is what I typed in the secondary title field as a workaround. We don’t want to have to do this for each series.
Is there a setting that makes this happen automatically?
Thank you!
Plus one for this feature! Thank you!

In reply to: [Boxzilla - WordPress Popup Builder] Popup on button clickRevised response: I did get this working by modifying the sample box to my specifications. I still don’t know why the one I created isn’t working, but I am now considering this resolved.
