In case this happens to anyone else: ConverKit confirmed that the lastname parameter will not be passed into their list system. No big deal if you don’t want to capture the last name through the built-in subscription form. (You can capture anything with a custom-built form with ConvertKit, tho. It’s just the built-in opt-in form used in the eNews widget that came with my theme that doesn’t grab the last name.)
