@cais – Thanks for the reply!
I appologize for not creating a seperate support topic. I realize it’s annoying for plugin developers and the WordPress community in general.
I suppose I took a shortcut as it isn’t that critical for me. I plan to update the site with genesis ( genesis still well supported ) and new responsive layout soon. My framework is older and child themes were not in existance back then. I do appreciate plugin authors and the work they take on!
I will create an seperate support topic if it becomes a bigger issue.@agiszikra – I had updated WordPress to 4.0.1 and then updated the plugin when my issue with ie and chrome appeared. I did revert to the older plugin and have had issues with uploading(had to add images one at a time or load them by ftp and scan the folder) images and other items. However I did have these same issues with my previous install of wordpress.
I could never make the gallery loader in the wordpress editor work and always added shortcodes manually. I believe Cais is right and it’s probably the older theme causing the issue. It’s kinda why I don’t use plugins very often as one gets stuck in and endless cycle of wordpress/plugin updates and conflicts. Still they do have there place and can save huge ammounts of time. The nextgen has been around a long time and is one of the best supported out there!Hello Cais,
I have the same issue with my galleries.
However it does show fine in firefox, but not ie11 and chrome.
So was wondering why the issue would be in the theme if it works in firefox. And if so what I could add to the functions file to make the call?
The theme and framework is no longer supported. Go Figure.I have reverted back to a previous version of the plugin and it now works in all browsers. Of course having said that I would like to have the latest plugin version installed.
Thanks for any response you can make!
Mike
