i have two more question today that you have not answered yet via your email
it appears we have to use the footer that you think we need/want for our website as the footer widgets are ‘closed’ – is this true?
i utilized your theme for the home pages for a few sections, then i added my own text to the homepage, and all of my sections disappeared except for the slider – is this working correctly?
any type of reply, yea or nae, would be great
hey bad news – i have to stop with this ‘testing’ to get your reports to work

WordPress version 5.6.1
Current theme: Typal.makewp005 (version 1.3.8)
Current plugin: WP Crontrol (version 1.9.1)

granted, it’s ‘only’ wordpress that caught/flagged the error – but i/we have no idea if it also prints/shows on a godaddy master console
so as i said above, i can not/will not put my client’s site at jeopardy with godaddy, thus i have deactivated and uninstalled the plugin (along with compressing the DB to remove any tables)
i hope you understand . . . net net, it’s still working, however not producing the reports . . . my client was fine this . . . i was the one who wanted to find out why (i have been working IT for 41 years now)

sorry to see there are 428 other folks who are not happy with godaddy!
so, full disclosure, i am not a cron guy like you, so i have captured and will share everything i did
first i did an add . . . note, the add only worked when i did the entire command and argument in the hook name – if i did an add with the “true” as an argument, it failed to add

so this is what it looked like after i did the add

i opened the site and there appeared to be no change to the cron event after a refresh (i assume you meant that above, that it would fire upon open of the site)
then i clicked the run now option popup when you hover over the listing, and i got this
as you can see, it shows the default OS first date time stamp, and did not run (?)
i then deleted the two entries as i am sure that adding/invoking cron hooks goes against godaddy policy and i don’t want to screw my client and have them frozen/not working by mr go daddy himself (danica i think is gone now)
what did i do wrong, or does is just not work?
and just in case, i am using “WP Crontrol enables you to view and control what’s happening in the WP-Cron system.”

thanks for the feedback on my writing – I try to have some fun in life- never hurts . . . except for those folks who think they are too important for any fun in their life
I have to say thank you for the knowledge that there is plugin to read/manage cron jobs (of course there is, silly!) . . . I have been working with WordPress for 11 years now, and never knew this, but then again, I have never had a reason to know this either
so I installed the leading plugin for this functionality . . . and many of the wordfence cron jobs had the default start date for unix or whatever this OS is of 12/31/69 . . . so I tried to rerun them and deleted the old entry for them
what I assume is easiest for you and me is to share a screen shot of what i see

for this client, i think they have managed WordPress at godaddy (ecck!), so i assume i will have to submit a ticket get the answer

sorry so late, but i got busy and i wanted to wait on the monthly reports
i did as per above, complete deactivate, delete and re-install with an import of my saved settings
and still nothing? – set it to daily reports – nothing (tested email settings too)
any thoughts?
it’s clear that it is running for me at this one client site, just no reports – not a big deal, but annually i share one report with my clients to see that contrary to their thoughts, their website is under constant attack
i am just about to say ‘no mas’ with this, as it’s taken way too much time already

so i did as you said above, with the tables, export, deactivate, delete, install, import
all went well
tested email and report – all good
then set the summary report to daily
will let you know in a couple of days how that goes

bad news, i cut n pasted the ID from the options page into the diagnostic test for just the email id and the test activity report – both worked
what do you want me to do next – deactivate, uninstall, reinstall
or
send you a diagnostic reportif you are sure a reinstall will work, i have no problem with that

i have other issues and it appears wordfense is working at this site, just no reports, so this is not on the top of my to-do list
it is specifically the summary that i am not getting – i have the same options set for all my other site
i turn off most alerts except critical stuff
i had the reports on monthly, then i changed ti daily – still nothing
i just did as you requested – turned everything off, then back on
still have summary set to dailynet net, if i have to deactivate, delete and install, no biggie as i can export and import settings, no?

and yesterday I of course got all my monthly summary reports from all my other sites
