Thanks for responding, Paulina. With a traffic service called AWSTATS, I used to receive data on the geographic location of my visitors and also their IP address. Sometimes, it was possible to identify that organization of the person visiting the site. This information would help me understand the “value” of the visitor: whether the visitor is genuinely among those who might consider using my services or just random general traffic. I also would like to know how large organizations monitor their website traffic and what insights they draw from the data. Steve Percoco
