I am so sorry! My bad! This is as embarrassing as hell, but I forgot to save after removing all the Elementor sticky settings. Once this simple truth dawned on me, everything worked well. I have added a post to the Stacking video comments for anyone else having the same problem and how to fix it. And to not be an idiot like me!

Just in case anyone else has the same problem here’s the fix…

Switch off all the elementor sticky effects you added and SAVE THE DAMN THING.

Then, in the main section, give it a CSS ID (not a CSS Class) of, say my-sticky-thing.

Then, in an inner section of my sticky thing section go to the Locomotive settings and add…

data-scroll
data-scroll-sticky
data-scroll-target|#my-sticky-thing

Resolved – unbelievably simple – for the record, in case anyone else thinks they have the same problem, the syntax is

a tag followed by class=”popmake-7182″ title=”contact”>contact me< and close the a tag.

Embarrasingly simple, really.
