  • I have the same problem. The sidebar worked beautifully but then stopped showing the thumbnails, only showing the gallery name with an inbuilt link to open the gallery (see mhasc.au). After reloading a July 23 backup I am pretty sure the problem is due to WordPress updates. The backup restored the thumbnails in the sidebar but within minutes an automatic backup from WordPress to 6.2.3 occurred and the thumbnails disappeared again. Can anyone help!! I love the plug in when it works.

Very disappointed to get this response which has nothing to do with my problem. My problem is not related to my computer so drivers are not relevant.
A shame to see the Forum used for blatant pushing of not needed software.

FIXED. Since writing above I discovered links on both the word and the logo at the end of the above post work perfectly. So it is only when the logo link opens from within WordPress that there is a problem. I then deactivated all Plugins and the image links then worked. Have now reactivated the plugins I actually use and all is now good!

After WordPress automatic upgrade around 22 April 17 I could not access the mhasc.org.au website or WordPress dashboard with same error message. That message was also in the error log obtainable by ftp or my host’s control panel file manager. The message was:
“PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected end of file in /home/mha19429/public_html/wp-includes/rest-api/class-wp-rest-server.php on line 301”.
I finally resolved after a lot of frustration by replacing the file identified in the error message with the same file from my last backup. Instant success! I hope this might help you.
I have since compared the two files and the WordPress automatic upgrade file stopped at line 301. The backup file was the same up to line 301 but was in total 1312 lines of code so somehow the rest of the file had got lost in the automatic upgrade. No good marks to WordPress here and I would be interested if WordPress can explain.
    Good luck
