    Thanks so much. Got it working with a bit of playing around. Created File Directory /public-html in the root, and saved .htaccess in it. Tried to install the plugin, but this time the error message said that the plugin ‘folder already exists’. Had to deleted that plugin’s folder, delete /public-html directory and started over. Created /public-html/.htaccess again, then reinstalled plugin. Said it failed, but it worked, and I could activate it. Thanks so much.
