In reply to: [Revenue Generator] Great Plugin, Needs to Support European CountriesThanks for the review and the feedback! Are there any specific countries that you would like to request?
@bart999, Thanks for your question! LaterPay works a bit differently than most payment providers. We allow for small micropayments where the user can “Pay Later.” This means that they can purchase several small articles and are only asked to register for an account and pay once their tab is $5 / 5€. We believe that by reducing the barriers to entry, we are providing a better user experience for your readers and therefore increasing your overall conversion rate.
Short answer: No, they do not have to have an account to unlock access to a single post (if you are using the Pay Later option).
If you would like them to register, here are a few different options:
1) Select a larger single post price ($1.99+ or 1.49€+) and select “Pay Now.” This will require the users to register and pay immediately.
2) In your WordPress site, navigate to Settings > LaterPay & check the very first checkbox, “Require User Login before Purchase” then click Save at the bottom of the page. This will require all users to login to LaterPay even before a “Pay Later” purchase.
Please let us know if you have any additional questions!

In reply to: [Laterpay] Can you limit number of pages viewable by visitors?Unfortunately that feature is not available today. However, if you have not found another solution, LaterPay does allow you to create a “voucher” to allow users to have free access to the site for 24-hours or a week etc.
There is likely a plugin that would allow a banner add for a user’s first ## of visits where you could display the voucher code and achieve a similar result to what you are looking for.
Let us know if we can do anything else to help!

In reply to: [Laterpay] Free Posts with 0,00 € are not accessible after update to v2.0Sorry for our delayed response! You are correct that, if your Global Default Price was set to 0,00 in previous versions, the post was free unless the price was set on that post itself or for the category. With v2.0 Time Passes and Subscriptions were displayed even when the Global Default was set to 0,00.
With v2.1.0 we resolved this issue so that now there are several options for the Global Default Price one of them being “FREE unless price is set on post page or by category.” This option should have to the same behavior as previous versions so that every post is free unless they match a Category Default Price or have an Individual Article Price set on the Post page.
Let us know if you have any other questions or concerns!
