    Niko,

I have put the suggestion in the stylesheet ( not sure if this was done on child theme- I haven’t lost anything)

And it has worked 😀 thank you ever so much!

    Hi Niko,

    Thank you 🙂

I am a complete novice when it comes to WordPress- I presume putting the theme into ‘Child Theme’ is a safe mode- so like you say, I wont lose all changes when i update….How do you change the theme so it is in child theme?

There may already be a post ref. this, so sorry if this is the case

I seem to have solved the issue ( in my case, not sure if it would work for others, but worth a try!)

After deactivating all the recent plugins and still nothing… I thought back to what else I had amended recently…. permalinks!!

On ww.wp.xz.cn these are automatically selected as default- making your links look messy and unprofessional- so I had changed the selection of how i wanted the links to look…

As soon as I rest this to the previous default setting all my images returned! 😀

However, this now created the problem of my permalinks now looking messy again! hmmmm :/

    Hi Student2424,

I seem to have the same issue with images in our ww.wp.xz.cn site… Did you manage to fix the issue?

Like you, I am also a complete novice with understanding the technical side of WordPress, so a lot of the previous posts etc are hard to follow.

My images were previously showing, but now they just appear as a broken image symbol. I have tried using different themes, uploading different images and deleting plugins that i installed after this issue occurred.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
