In reply to: Unable to update / delete plugins and themesUpdate with additional information…
I can install new plugins through WP admin and can also delete the newly installed plugins.
I changed the permissions on each plugin to 755 and tried another test to delete a plugin – the result was the same (message “Could not remove the old plugin. Plugin update failed.” The plugin disappeared from WP admin but still displays on FTP site.)
Thank you 🙂
Sure… Here’s a link, http://www.acrannualmeeting.org/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/updraft-plus-log-july14.pdf (pastebin said the file size was too large).
Update: Today’s backup was successful (files and database), but I would still like to solve the intermittent problems if possible.
Thank you
Hi – I submitted the support request on Friday and just received a reply. I will continue the communication through your help desk. Thanks again.
Update – to checkout the exported zip file, I tried to open it in WinZip and got a message, “Cannot open file, it does not appear to be a valid archive.”
Any suggestions on how to successfully export and import are much appreciated. Thanks
Hello – I am having a similar problem. I exported and downloaded a zip file with no problem (I used IE). But when I tried to import the file, the plugin displayed the message: “File is not compatible with “All In One WP Migration” plugin! Please verify your archive file.” I tried to rename the zip file with .zip extension, but that did not work. I also repeated the export / import and got the same error (as with Ivisage, the two zip files were different sizes). Both times, I exported everything except spam comments.
Any help is much appreciated… Thanks

In reply to: 3.6 – Please give us a way to REVERT to previous version!Understand and agree. But my theme was not compatible with 3.8 and it broke, so it seemed like the best option for a quick fix until there is a theme upgrade. Do you have any suggestions for a better solution in this situation? I am open to ideas…

In reply to: [WP Super Cache] Moved site to new server – have multiple error messagesUpdate – I found a solution. I changed the path in the config file.
Justin – thanks so much for the fast reply – I really appreciate hearing from you! I posted on getshopped.org in October and did not hear back. I am glad that there are efforts to resolve the bugs. I was planning to rebuild the store but would prefer not to spend the time. So I will keep an eye on the link you posted to see when there is a fix. Please let me know if there are any other sources I can check to stay updated…

In reply to: Home page not getting sticky postsI took a look at the plugins and made an educated guess as to the culprit (this is a blog that didn’t set up, I was just helping to troubleshoot). I decided to try one at a time, so I started with ‘Redirection’ and that did the trick – all fixed. Thanks again esmi!
