The front page is set to static page. I was able to get the welcome page to show up by changing the permalink to default in settings. It still doesn’t show up as front page. I’ll try your suggestions tomorrow. Thank you Tara. I appreciate it!

Tara, thank you for the link. What’s happening, is the page itself is not found, whether it’s the front page or not. I’ve deleted the welcome page and re-added it. It’s still not found. Being a beginner, I can’t seem to figure it out.
