In reply to: Image borders-hours of frustrationThanks for your comments. I figured out what was wrong. I needed to clear the cache within the site and clear the cache in my computer (and the others who work on the site).
Thanks, I’ve installed WP Smush Pro, 60% off today! that should assist I think.

In reply to: Image borders-hours of frustrationThank you! I don’t know how to post a screenshot here…I opened my site on Microsoft Edge and it’s fine. My husband opened it on his chrome browser and it’s fine. It’s just showing for me (and the two employees I have who work on the site) I guess.

In reply to: Image borders-hours of frustrationNo I haven’t figured it out.
If you look at the header, our logo is round. There’s a gold frame around it. on many of the pages with photos, there’s a gold frame around them.
It’s not specific to the theme because I’ve changed themes a few times and the ugly gold frame remains.
On this page https://lewisandclarkcd.org/about-us/board-of-supervisors/
There is a gold frame around every photo, but not the map at the bottom which is also an image file.
