Thank you so much for the swift response Ron. Too bad Yoast support can’t do the same. I tried turning off all plugins, but yoast, and it doesn’t fix the problem. Yoast has a problem with their code and it won’t be fixed until they fix it. So, the plugin can’t be network activated any longer until their developer can fix it. And yes, I read the yoast requirement page and our environment meets all their requirements.
Experiencing same problem as Ron, but with Yoast version 2.5. Read Yoast requirements page and we meet all requirements. Log points to error here,wordpress-seo/inc/options/class-wpseo-option.php on line 786. Can you make a fix for this issue so it’s possible to network activate it? Free version can’t be network activated. This is still an issue, obviously.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] reCaptcha v3Hi Ian,
Thank you for the reply. I do wish there was a slider available for v3 as there is for v2, but it appears that’s not offered. Thank you thoughForum: Plugins

In reply to: [User Switching] Mapped Domains in multi-site w/ user switchingWhen you log out, are you sent to the correct domain name for the log out screen? Yes
Can you try deactivating your other plugins (and themes) one by one to see if one of them is interfering? Yes. Already tried that. With all plugins shut off, still redirected to mapped domain name. Thought this was built into the core. Read on some online sites that this is the default behavior. Do you agree? Got any other suggestions please?
OK. Great. So Yoast is not auto-generating the Twitter card to be put on Twitter. Rather YOAST metadata is being read to determine what to display after the post’s url is pasted into the Tweet. I have been using the validator and getting expected results so far. All is good. If things change, I’ll let you know. Thank you
Hello Maybellyne,
To answer your question:
Did you upload an image for the specific post/page in the Yoast SEO meta box > Social > Twitter preview? Yes.
The image loads in Twitter without issue when I use the url of the post and paste it into Tweet on Twitter. Let me add that it’s not necessary to use Yoast SEO meta box > Social > Twitter preview either to get an image to appear on a Tweet. I find that when pasting url in Tweet, Twitter finds a pic on post and uses it.The operative sentence here is, “The image loads in Twitter without issue when I use the url of the post and paste it into Tweet on Twitter”. I have to paste the url into the tweet. It’s my understanding that Yoast will load the twitter card itself, and there is no need for me to paste a url as long as I have the account info setup here, SEO > Social>Account. Is that the correct understanding? If yes, then, Yoast is not working. Why not? Besides looking for conflict, what else is there to try? As already mentioned above, I get the expected twitter or og tags.
Hope this provides clarity as well as answers your question. Thank you

In reply to: [Quick Page/Post Redirect Plugin] Deprecated CodeHello,
Is it possible to update this plugin very soon please? Due to all the changes being made in the core, it’s really imperative that this be updated very soon. We are now seeing other issues related to this plugin since it’s not updated. Let’s update and then use the update to test before we have to make a decision of whether or not to remove it from our site. Thanks so much.
FYI…the issue was taken to GITHUB. After GITHUB, it was transferred to an internal queue to be fixed. So the issue is not really resolved, but moved to different lists. It still needs to be fixed before core 5.9

In reply to: [Shortcodes Ultimate - Content Elements] Deprecated CodeHello,
The jquery migrate helper plugin is still flagging the issue mentioned above. The most recent code update does not address the issue. Would you kindly update the jquery in the code please? Do you have a date for the fix please?

I tested and found that it works. Thank you. I will wait for it to be released after core 5.8

In reply to: [Media Library Assistant] Deprecated CodeHi David,
Just saw this reply. I will test, but where exactly is the code that was uploaded please?
Hello Mazedul,
Thank you for getting back to me. I don’t think looking at the page is going to help. The jquery migrate helper plugin actually found this issue. This plugin was created by Automatic to find these issues so they can be fixed before the backward compatibility for jquery is stripped from core in WP 5.9. Maybe there would be more mileage from looking at the code where the deprecation occurs. Can the deprecation be fixed? Send updated code so I can test it using the plugin again. Or, please install the plugin and test it there. Thank you
Hi Maybellyne,
Just updated to 16.7 and the original deprecation issue doesn’t appear:
/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/js/dist/post-edit-1650.js:1:101578): jQuery.unique is deprecated; use jQuery.uniqueSort
However, after upgrade, this deprecation issue appears. Can this be fixed please?
/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/js/dist/api-client-1670.js:1:1262): jQuery.isFunction() is deprecated
