Update/resolved (I think): I went into Post 674, saved all the images with new names, re-inserted them and uploaded them to WP, thereby telling TP2WP there was nothing to import there, and it has now moved on to the next post.
Update: I reset the import state and started again. It gets stuck (again) on Post 674. So I’m assuming there’s something up with this post. Is there a way to find out, or to exclude it from the import?

I was using 4.5.2, but I decided to reset my WordPress database (deleting everything, since I had upwards of 400,000 image files) and re-import my blog from TypePad, so I don’t have the issue anymore. I used the TP2WP $49 importer and it worked well. I’m not quite sure how that thing happened with all the images though…I had a lot of image, but maybe 50,000 of them, not 400,000 of them (and it wasn’t done yet!). Thanks for replying.
