Thanks Steph for your kind reply.
I can live with the blank values because I can export the subform where the data does not seem to be impacted with the blank values, but the import is really a big issue.
I am importing into repeaters and of course importing data to the main form at the same time as suggested. After importing the data, if I go to view entries on the back end, a lot of the fields appear to not have imported and are blank. This is also the case in the main form. The import inital record preview looks fine, but even that record does not import all the values in the main form.
If I go to the front side and view the same ID the entires sometimes do appear. I even have the same issue if I edit on the back side directly and then come back to an entry I have edited; all the field data is not displaying on the form (yes I clicked the update button).
I have tried two different hosting companies and I am not running much in the way of additional caching so I cannot determine what is the issue. Your support person also was able to replicate this and stated it would be submitted to be corrected.
It is truly the main problem, as I feel the data is unreliable in the database. If I enter something and then it disappears, it is a big problem.
Hand coding all of this is going to take thousands of dollars and a lot of time. So I am hoping you can simply determine what is occurring during during the import or back end edit process to have the data disappear in the form entries.
We were just about ready to launch our 3,000 member club website and during QA we detected the issues with data edits so it is truly a tragic situation. We have been working on this site now with the board for about a year.
