While i read your plugins “readme” it is possible to add leaflet plugins. Might it be a solution to add the leaflet-control-geocoder (https://github.com/perliedman/leaflet-control-geocoder) as a quick solution (Demo here: https://www.liedman.net/leaflet-control-geocoder/)
