Hi there. Thanks for your continued support. Unfortunately there is no option here to attached a screenshot. To summarise:
    1) I am logged in as admin
    2) The template being loaded to render the new page is page.php (same as the other pages)
    3) I have checked that I have permission to publish pages.
    4) I can add new pages.
    5) when I publish and view the page the content is gone and when I go back to the edit screen in hasn’t been saved.

I don’t know where or how to run that mysql script. Oh, one other bit of information that might help…..when I change the theme to one of the other WP themes like OceanWP I can see the content so it appears the issue is definitely with the theme.

Are you logged into the site as an Administrator?
Are you able to read the functions.php file under Appearance –> Editor
Can you add a new Page, or a new Post ? Post –> Add New, Page –> Add New

Yes to all of the above with the exception of adding a new post. I didin’t think that was relevant.

Could you walk me through what I’m looking for if it’s a Db problem please. Thanks.

Thanks for your response. I did intened to share the dev link because that’s the site I’m trying to develop before pushing it to production. Ideally it shouldn’t be public but then if it wasn’t you wouldn’t be able to see what the problem is.

Anyway, the site doesn’t use a db at least not that I know of so I don’t think that can be the issue. I believe the issue is with the Theme which is a custom theme provided by our previous web developer with whom we no longer have a relationship. So, if that’s the case then we are screwed and the only option we have is to build a brand new site. If on the other hand this is an issue with something I have done within WP or haven’t done then I was hoping that someone here would be able to give me some insight.
