Alan, I’ve tried resetting it and also installing an older version. The reset didn’t work and the install failed because the Media Plus folder already exists.
If I delete the Media Plus plugin will I lose all the folders? While it also delete the files from within the media library?

Fixed it. Solution: Plugin’s placement needed to be set “top” or “bottom”; not “top and bottom”.
I had the same problem. Deactivating JetPack corrected it for my website.
