Brilliant. Thank you Sean for the update.
I was just coming here to report the same thing. Media Manager won’t load when wanting to select image in the editor window or from Featured Image for blog posts, nor for pages.

In reply to: [Google for WooCommerce] Fatal Error after updated to v1.12.2I had the same and had to roll back to 1.12.1 to get the site working again.
Please let me know when it’s fixed.
Thanks

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Slow Error Logs show thisHere’s what I got for a reply from hosting support and I don’t know what to do next about this. Jetpack updated in the meantime, not sure if it was related. I’m still experiencing that slowness periodically throughout the day.

Cron jobs can be created by plugins to execute jobs at certain time durations. These can be created by plugins, themes or custom jobs.
We don’t have a huge insight on each one as they are special to one of those related areas, but attached is a schedule of ones on the site.
It does look like Jetpack tries to sync each minute which seems a bit quick but we’re not entirely sure of it’s purpose.
There suggestions for either disabling, which we wouldn’t suggest, and timeout falls outside of what we’re comfortable supporting as these are jobs that the site needs to run, or at least have been told to run by a plugin or other setup.
We’re happy to provide support and knowledge as best as we can but specific custom pieces like this, is best handled at the development level.
If you would like to make any adjustments to the wp-config.php in terms of what you mentioned, let us know and we can go from there.

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Slow Error Logs show thisI don’t schedule anything on this site. So I don’t know where all the scheduled events are coming from. I’ve forwarded your comments to hosting support for some clarification on their end.

Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: autofocus – image on front pageHi, I had a client just install it the other day. Here’s what we learned using the template.
The Blog Post page has a placeholder for an image sized max 800×600 px
Upload all the images you wish to use to the media manager sized for this 800x600px
Write your blog post description – blog post allows any length. Insert the one image you wish to show on that blog post page. When using the Insert Image option through WordPress, choose the LARGE image size or ORIGINAL size for the blog post. It will insert the image into the blog post, and the home page will pull that link for the image automatically to the home page.
The Home Page, the way it is designed, it will crop and adjust photos according to the dimensions shown on the home page layout.
If you need to adjust the size of the photo inserted to the blog post, you simply click once on the photo and select the EDIT PROPERTIES button that appears on the image. Use the % (percentage) scaling slider beside the image to shrink it down for suitable insertion into the blog post text – the header part of the blog post page will continue to display the large (original) size photo.
I assume there is also a way to attach images through custom-fields with this theme, although I haven’t found that works as of yet.
I hope these directions are clear and allow you to experiment. Recreate the same post again and again playing with the process and technique if you’re having difficulty getting it right the first time. Once you’ve nailed down the process, you’ll be good to go.
