I updated URE and the Plugin reports version 4.24.6.
The good news is that the changes are retained on the screen after UPDATE is pressed.

Me, idiot. Forgot that I had to enable admin access for specific users in WooCommerce filters “woocommerce_disable_admin_bar” and “woocommerce_prevent_admin_access”.

Sorry for wasting time and space.
I see a “switch back” link at the bottom of a page after switching to a WooCommerce “Customer”, and was greeted with an empty page with “Cannot Switch Users” as the only words on the page.
I essentially had to log out, go back to the wp-admin screen and log in again.
Would you expect the switch back link to work from an account that has essentially few capabilities.
