    Thank you! Is this something that you think might be able to be added to the next version release (this is my formal add feature request)? My coding skills are… ummm… just about enough to break things really well and then have to hire someone to fix them for me. 🙂

    Hmmm. Okay. In that case, would it be possible to add a field in the WordPress post Social box (maybe by the Add Tweet By URL box) that would allow the user to manually input a Facebook post link or number so that Social can connect them up? I assume the story ID for the one I posted above would be the number string at the end, 412654508934438:0, yes? I’m enjoying Social very much, and that would make it even more marvelous since some of the articles that have gotten the most interaction are ones that I posted pre-Social and thus look like they have almost no interaction would you look at them on my site. 🙂 Thanks again for your time.

    Thanks for getting back to me. But, what do you mean “for Facebook we need to know what the post is connected to in order to find Likes and Comments”? How does Social determine this if not by having the blog post url in the Facebook post? Would that not link the two together so Social sees the link on Facebook? I have manually added both the regular and permalink for the blog post in question to my corresponding post on Facebook, and Social does not even see the Facebook post much less the likes and comments attached to it. How should I be connecting these two things (blog & Facebook posts)? Thanks!
